Located on Oxford Street in London, the Loftus firm manufactured specialized equipment for the brewing and spirit trades. 12mo: 140, [6, illustrations], [2, ads] pp. Original brown cloth binding, with gilt-stamped titling and a rendering of a beer barrel on the front panel, blind-stamped ornamental borders, and pale yellow endpapers. Tiny bump to the bottom corner of the text block. The signature of Chicago book designer Cameron Poulter appears on the front flyleaf.
