THE "THREE IMMEDIATE WOMEN FRIENDS" OF THE ANTHONY FAMILY. SEE BIOGRAPHY OF SUSAN B. ANTHONY, PAGE 1435, BY MRS. IDA HUSTER HARPER.
Montgomery, [Alabama]: Brown Print. Co., 1918. Three-page brochure promoting publication in 1918 of Ida Husted Harper’s scarce three-volume biography of suffrage leader Susan B. Anthony. The brochure calls out “no bias” in the suffrage movement demonstrated by the fact that Mrs. Jerome Jeffrey of the Negro Women of Rochester is often a guest in the Anthony home alongside the Rev. Anna Howard Shaw and Carrie Chapman Catt, president of the National Woman Suffrage Association, to which all Southern suffragettes belong.
Scarce, three copies recorded in OCLC: University of Rochester, The Clements, and University of North Carolina, Greensboro.
