In the publisher's exquisite full vellum binding, with gilt-stamped foliate borders, lyre pattern field, rose devices, royal coat-of-arms, and titles, and an ivory silk ribbon marker. The bookplate of Stiles Henry Curtiss, a member of the Caxton Club, appears on the front pastedown.
