DELIRIUM: Italian Exploitation Cinema
Oxford: Media Publications, 1971-1983. Wraps. Six issues: Issue One (Revised Edition), Issue Two, Issue 3, Issue 4, and Issue 5, along with Delirium: A Guide to Italian Exploitation Cinema 1975-1979, a completely revised and updated version of the second issue.
Alternatively billing itself as "The Essential Reference Guide to Trash Cinema" and "The Essential Guide to Bizarre Italian Cinema", Delirium served as a comprehensive guide to the often-lurid Italian cinema of the 1970s and early '80s, complete with credits, stills and posters, reviews, etc.
A4 format. The first two issues are photomechanically produced on standard white stock and bound with staples; the others are professionally printed on glossy stock with some colorful wrappers. Some mild wear, with old price labels to the front panel of the third and fourth issues; otherwise very good.
From the library of Howie Pyro, dubbed the "Patron Saint of the Weird" by Village Voice. Pyro (born Howard Kusten, 1960-2022) was a veteran of the New York punk and underground scenes, best known for his work with D Generation and Danzig. Very good. Item #80094
