Chicago: Arrow Parlor Frame Company, 1953. Spiral bound. Oblong tall octavo: 118 pp. with 117 black-and-white photographs. The May 1953 price list is inserted at the rear. Spiral-bound at the top, with printed green paper wrappers. Some faint evidence of moisture to the price list and the extremities of the wrappers, which are a trifle soiled; else about very good.
A relic from that bygone era when a living room was referred to as the parlor. Based in Chicago, Arrow offered furniture that was made to stand the test of time. Sadly, the same cannot be said of their fabric choices, which are best described as mid-century Maude. Among the sofas, loveseats, sectionals, chair, and ottomans featured within, No. 803 is equal parts fascinating and horrifying. Very good. Item #80060
