In the publisher's olive diagonal fine-ribbed cloth binding, with maroon-stamped ruled and floral ornamental band at the top and fore-edge with spider's web at the corner, triangular field of "cracked ice" pattern, and horizontal "keyhole" vignette of veranda by stream, maroon and tan-stamped panel with pen, quill, and titling on the front panel; and maroon-stamped ruled head and tail bands, and pen and quill devices, and gilt-stamped ornaments and titling on the spine. All edges trimmed, with buff endpapers olive printed with a floral pattern with fine ruled field. Mild wear to the corners and tips; else very good or better.
