A stamp on the verso in Dutch translates to The Farmers’ Stock Exchange Committee for Public Funds and is hand dated October 24, 1865.
$1,000, 8 percent bond issued by the Confederate States of American to help fund the Civil War. The bond mature date was July 1880. Includes 24 coupons valued at $40 each. Item #79378
