In the publisher's yellow coated paper wrappers, with blue, ochre, red, and black-printed ruled and floral decorated borders, and decorative "fairground" titling. The publisher's advertisements are printed in black on the rear panel. Period ink gift inscription to the upper margin of the first plates, with the recipient's signature and date (1868) to the top edge of the front panel. Some mild rubbing and toning to the wrappers; otherwise very good. Provenance: from the Publishers' Bookbindings collection of Ellen K. Morris and Edward S. Levin. Very good. Item #78880
