Camões had a permanent and unparalleled impact on Portuguese and Brazilian literature alike, due to not only his epic but also his posthumously published lyric poetry. 12mo: 157, [1, blank], [2, ads] pp, with a frontispiece portrait. Original cloth binding, with gilt-stamped titles and blind-stamped decorations and borders. Minor bumping to the corners and tips, with a few small spots to the rear board; otherwise very good.
