Includes instructions for preparing a variety of beverages, cakes, canned fruits, cookies and doughnuts, fish and sauces, pastry and pies, pickles, soups, vegetables, etc. Several pages of local advertisements appear at the rear and on the endpapers. Octavo: 187 pp. Original purples cloth binding, with gilt-stamped titles and blind-stamped borders. The hinges are cracked. The spine is mottled and sun faded, with some fraying to the corners and tips. Scarce, OCLC locates no holdings of this 1902 edition and only three of the 1913 issue. Good. Item #78450
