Includes McKay's Sunday color page work for the never-before-reprinted Hearst-page period and the never-before-collected 29 color appearances of McCay's brilliant predecessor to Little Nemo, The Dream of the Rarebit Fiend. Quarto, six volumes: various paginations with full-color artwork throughout. Original cloth bindings, with gilt titles. Previous owner's ink address stamp to the front flyleaf in the first five volumes. A bit of edgewear to the boards; othewise a very good set in clean and bright dust jackets. Very good / Very good.
