This was LeConte's first trip to the Yosemite region, to be followed by ten more over the next thirty years. Foreword by Francis P. Farquhar. Octavo: [xvi], 152 p. with a frontispiece portrait, a facsimile of the title page of the 1875 first edition, and three photographs. Original blue paper-covered boards over a linen spine, with a printed paper spine label. A bit of wear to the lower corners, with some mild rubbing and toning to the spine label; otherwise very good.
