Lederer (1912-2009) is best known for The Ugly American (1958), one of two novels he co-wrote with Eugene Burdick. Octavo: 292 p. Original tan cloth-covered boards over a blue cloth spine, with silver titles. The dust jacket is sun faded along the spine, with a bit of edgewear and some shallow chipping; otherwise very good.
