Rollicking memoir of four Hollywood glamour girls (Carole Landis, Mitzi Mayfair, Kay Francis, and Martha Raye) who entertained the American fighting forces in Bermuda, Britain, and Africa during World War II. A clown princess of comedy, Raye (1916-94) was also a committed patriot who continued her work with the USO during the Korean conflict and Vietnam War, earning the nickname "Colonel Maggie" and later, a Presidential Medal of Freedom. Octavo. Original cloth binding, with red and blue stamping.
