Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the Hugh M. Hefner Foundation. Peter Arno was a major influence on the young Hugh Hefner (1926-2017), who worked as a cartoonist at The Daily Illini during his college years. Later, Hefner courted Arno in the hopes that the artist would help establish Playboy, as he had The New Yorker. Quarto.
