The drama opened on Broadway on December 27, 1945 and ran for 69 performances. Later, it served as the basis for the 1949 Mark Robson film starring Douglas Dick, Jeff Corey, Lloyd Bridges, Frank Lovejoy, James Edwards, and Steve Brodie. Inscribed by Laurents on the half-title. Octavo. Original tan cloth binding, with red and blue titles. Internally crisp and clean. Some uneven browning and a tiny nick to the rear panel of the dust jacket, which is a touch faded along the extremities; else very good or better. Near fine / Very good. Item #66249
