He joined in vigorously in contemporary debates in the photographic press and associations about the legitimacy of "art photography" and in particular the combining of separate images into one. This work is dedicated to The Linked Ring, a photographic society dedicated to promoting photography as both an art and a science. A volume in the Bibliotheque Photographique series. Text in French.
