Edinburgh: Oliver and Boyd, 1892. First Edition. Hardcover. Gibson (1854-1913), a Scottish physician, wrote on the diverse fields of geology and heart disease. He was the first to discover a heart condition - the Gibson Murmur - which is named after him. Inscribed "With the Author's Compliments" on the half-title. Octavo.
