Hardcover. 648 p. plus 70 p. with a folding frontispiece, a table (printed on the recto and verso), the guillotine plate, and the folding interior view of the Manufacturer's Hall. Octavo. In a later one-quarter tan calf over marbled paper binding, with handsome gilt stamping, a red morocco spine label, five raised bands, and matching marbled endpapers. The frontispiece has been backed with linen. Some very mild toning; otherwise very good. Very good. Item #69608
